Local Support Groups

Mended Hearts and Mended Little Hearts local support groups provide support to heart patients and families of all ages—you are not alone. Support groups have meetings, events, and activities—both in-person and online—to bring people together and support each other.

Accredited Visiting Program

Trained volunteers who are patients, parents and caregivers themselves visit in-person, by telephone and online with patients, parents and caregivers who are in the hospital, rehab center, clinic or at home and need someone to speak to who has been there themselves.

Our Accredited Visiting Program Supports Patients and Families, Even Long-Distance

Vacations may be interrupted, but 4 years later it is good to look back at how well the medical profession helps take care of us. This resulted in a flight from Juneau to Anchorage Alaska to install a pacemaker.
